Grade:6 - In present day Russia, the life expectancy has dramatically dropped. This is because of pollution and diseases or lung cancer. It is now a democracy that copies many of the U.S. democracy ways. - They switched to free market economy - which was however a bad idea. Russia used to be a communist government so the government controls the price of the food so they can afford it. Now many people faced poverty and unemployment because many people their lost the jobs and didn't have a say in it. - The government is not a fair system. The people who are friends with the people that work in the government recieve all the money, while the rest of the people suffer. -The thing is that people can hire other people to vote for them even if it is a democracy. So you could end up getting a total idiot for a president. You could be under this president's rule for a six-year term, with the chance that they could serve up to two back-to-back terms.
